THE RAFFLE!

1. Signed copy of Life-Abet by @TechnicallyRon

Released on 5th November, Aaron Gilles' Life-Abet is an 'encyclopeodic A-Z guide to everything from TV, Politics, Body Image, Kids and Mental Health'. It apparently has some LOVELY illustrations, and Aaron's humour makes this 'a refreshing take on what modern life in Britain today entails'. We have it on good authority that he may just write 'NERD' over and over again in the winner's signed copy...

2. Doodle package from @ben_cameron at Strange Paul

Ben Cameron's doodles are notoriously heartbreaking and have been known to ruin days. However, they are utterly adorable and no home is complete without one. Hey, they're not ALL heartbreaking, after all. The winner of this prize will receive two postcards, five greetings cards, and THREE hand drawn/painted illustrations!

3. Signed copy of Mind Your Head by James Dawson

Now, we don't wish to brag, but this book isn't even out until February, so the lucky winner will be one of the first to get their mitts on a copy. We couldn't even find a photo of the actual book so THAT'S how exclusive this prize is. James Dawson is an absolute sweetheart and a wonderful role-model in the LGBT+ community, as well as YA. We have no doubts that Mind Your Head will be a brilliantly important guide for young people and their mental health. A special, lucky, and very apt prize!

4. Bespoke ukulele by The Uke-Lady

Olivia Johnson, known on the streets as the Uke-Lady, specialises in hand-painted ukuleles that 'embrace your quirky wants and needs'. Fancy! She's got a design up her sleeve that's perfect for our Crafternoon theme, so the winner will be getting a one-of-a-kind prize! Her ukuleles are suitable for 'light-play' or decorative purposes, and the paint used is acrylic with a glossy setting varnish. Made from linden plywood with nylon strings, they're of a beautiful quality (as you can see!) and come fully strung with a carry bag. These beauties are worth £50, so we're very thankful to have one as a prize!

5. Signed copy of Three Amazing Things About You by Jill Mansell

'Hallie has a secret. She’s in love. He’s perfect for her in every way, but he’s seriously out of bounds. And her friends aren’t going to help her because what they do know is that Hallie doesn’t have long to live. Time is running out…' HEARTBREAK ALERT. This is the unstoppable Jill Mansell's 26th book, and we still can't get over the fact that she handwrites each of her novels before getting her daughter to type them up. HANDWRITES. What a trooper. How she's got any energy left in her hand to sign a copy is beyond us...

6. Bespoke lyric cross-stitch by CraftyCurtis

We keep dropping hints to our boyfriends to get one of these cross-stitches for us, but men are useless. CraftyCurtis will cross-stitch a lyric of your choice of up to 10 words, as long as it's not from a shit band like R.E.M. Her rule, not ours. She had an order from Dawn French, dontcha know. Get her. Yes, she will do swear words. Go wild.

7. Signed copy of The Big Lie by Julie Mayhew (and limited edition Revolution Arschlocher badges)

Not that we're biased at all, but this book is SO BLOODY GOOD, so we're inclined to cheat and keep the signed copy for ourselves... (We won't. Promise.) Set in a present dystopia, Julie Mayhew creates a world where the Nazis won. Britain is under their rule and the story follows the life of teenage girls. It's full of sexuality, feminism, revolution, and brainwashing. It's terrific. Have we mentioned? You'll also get some cool badges to show off.

8. Two beautiful Christmas cushions by KateWritesStuff

Being obsessed with both Christmas and crafts, Katie couldn't resist buying some super cute material to make two cushions for us. Look! Polar bears! Penguins! Adorable. We heard on the grapevine that she might even make THREE. Keep us on our toes, she does. Stay tuned...

9. Signed copy of The Next Together by Lauren James

At the top of our To Be Read list is this beautiful-sounding YA debut from Lauren James. 'Katherine and Matthew are destined to be born again and again, century after century. Each time, their presence changes history for the better, and each time, they fall hopelessly in love, only to be tragically separated.' ANOTHER HEARTBREAK, WE KNOW, WE'RE SORRY.

10. Buddy Box from TheCatsDaughter by Blurt Foundation

Buddy Boxes are a lovely idea to cheer up a loved one if they're having a rough time, or even for yourself if you're feeling a bit down and need a cuddle in a box. Each box is different so it's a cute surprise to receive. The lovely Charlotte, better known as TheCatsDaughter on Twitter, will buy one for the lucky winner. Keep it for yourself for a rainy day, or hide it away for when your best friend has been dumped. Either way, you'll never feel so much love for a cubed object since Wall-E. (He's basically a cube, right?)

11. Signed copy of Beautiful Broken Things by Sara Barnard

Here's another book which hasn't even been released. I know, we're spoiling you. We've only heard beautiful broken things about this YA debut from Sara Barnard (broken because the spine's been cracked through ferocious reading, of course) due to its wonderful storytelling of female friendship. It's definitely not one to miss for YA readers. And look at the cover! Just look at it! GOLD! We want to stroke it.

12. Bespoke art piece by Ildikó Connell

These small examples of Ildikó's work don't do her talent justice. Go and trawl through her art by clicking on that link. Do it! She'll create an A4 bespoke animal piece for you in either pen or watercolour, depending on the style you'd like. These beautiful pieces are worth between £80 and £100, you lucky devils.

13. Signed copy of Lily and the Christmas Wish by Keris Stainton (and a Whispered Wish scented candle from Lily-Flame)

Everyone loves a lovely Christmas story, and we can think of no other author than Keris Stainton who can do it so beautifully. This apt prize comes with a scented candle, so you can snuggle up with it burning away in the Winter and read this tale with your child, grandchild, any other consenting designated child...

14. Any mounted and framed lyric print from MyBrokenArt

How fancy is this? The winner of this prize will be able to choose any A4 lyric print from MyBrokenArt which is mounted in an A3 frame. Choose your favourite artist and see their lyrics make up a portrait of them. SO CLEVER. Great for a music lover.
